Old Habits Die Hard

I have been dieting for several months. I started out realizing that my eating habits had to change. So I changed them. I started eating a small breakfast, added a mid-morning snack, continued my lunch, mid-afternoon snack, and dinner, added a desert – usually as an evening snack. This was great. But since my focus has turned to other aspects of my life, I find that my eating habits gradually moved around until I was back into the lunch, snack, dinner, binge cycle.

You know we are all on a diet. Our diet is what we eat. That is the simple truth. So, we don’t need to ‘go on a diet’, we need to CHANGE our diet to a healthier one. I have been learning so much about eating and how the body reacts to the eating over the past few years. I mean beyond counting calories. It started when I was introduced to a line of products put out by Mannatech. Then I read their literature on the 8 essencial ’sugars’, why we need them, and what they do. After that, I went into reading about water – filtered and unfiltered. Do you know how yucky our water is? But that is another subject. On to the Hallalujah diet and vegetarian truths (no, I am not a vegetarian). There is so much to learn.

In future posts I want to go into each of these subject. I also want to review and make a page on DietDirect, NutriSystem Old Habits Die Hard , Dr. Siegal’s® COOKIE DIET™, Bistrol MD, DietWatch.com, Chefs Diet Prepared Meals & Snacks Old Habits Die Hard, Medifast, and others.
